When I flipped through my October issue of Details magazine it wasn't the Prada ads, an article on a cocaine wrecked life or tips on how to achieve a killer orgasms that caught my eye, it was a
photo of icy beer cans. The trendy, hip and those in the know now know what beer enthusiasts have understood for awhile. Great beer comes in a can. The quick article highlights 7 canned beers that are worthy of popping the tab. Sly Fox's Pikeland Pils is the Philly connection on the list. Details author, Rob Willey, states: "Malt and hops give it a subtle heft that most pale brews lack.". The other canned wonders on the list are; Steamworks Steam Engine Lager, Caldera Ashland Amber, Oskar Blues Ten Fidy Imperial Stout (my favorite), 21st Amendment Brew Free or Die IPA, Butternuts Heinnieweisse Weissebier and New Belgium Fat Tire Amber Ale.
